The Equipment Page shows the list of all equipment in a specific account. Added equipment on the portal will be reflected to the app. Also , the added equipment on the app will be reflected to the portal.

The Equipment page can be manually refreshed using the Refresh button within the site header.

  1. Equipment Management Actions

    1. 1. Exporting Equipment

      1. 1.1 Click on the Export button to generate a report of the current equipment you have access to.

      2. 1.2 The Export File dialog will then appear.

      3. 1.3 Select a document type and click Export button to print a report of the equipment

      4. 1.4 The report will be saved as a PDF file when you selected PDF, and as a CSV file when you selected CSV. Click here for a sample PDF report.

    2. 2. Uploading CSV for Bulk Equipment

      1. 2.1 Click on the Upload CSV button.

      2. 2.2 The Upload CSV dialog will then appear.

      3. 2.3 Browse for your CSV file and click Upload button.

      4. 2.4 A success message will then appear if the upload is successful.


      5. 2.4.1 If uploading new equipment, a success message will display the numbers of equipment that has been successfully added.
        2.4.2 If uploading existing equipment with updates, a success message will display the number of equipment that has been successfully updated.

      6. 2.5 Otherwise an error message will appear.

      7. 2.6 Click on the Close button of the modal to close the dialog after uploading or to cancel the CSV upload.

    3. 3. Creating New Equipment

      1. 3.1 Click on the New Equipment button.

      2. 3.2 The Create Equipment dialog will then appear.

        Notes:

        • If the user selected Trailer in Equipment Type, then VIN and ELD Configuration is not needed.

        • ELD Configuration will be displayed as None by default.

        • Hover the help icon to show the tooltip.

      3. The selected DVIR form and Device will be displayed on the app. If the user selected Trailer in Equipment Type, then VIN and ELD Configuration is not needed. ELD Configuration will displayed as None by default.
      4. 3.3 Type the name of the equipment.

      5. 3.4 If selected equipment type > Vehicle.

        1. 3.4.1 Type the VINLicense Plate and Firmware Version. The VIN is automatically capitalized.

        2. 3.4.2 The Odometer Offset. The Odometer Offset value must be in Miles.

        3. 3.4.3 Select a License Plate Country and License Plate State.

        4. 3.4.4 Select a DVIR Form, Visibility Set, Home Terminal, Regulation Mode and GPS Receiver.

        5. 3.4.5 The ELD Configuration fieldgroup will only appear on Vehicle equipment types. Select a device associated to equipment added.

          1. 3.4.5.1 If user selected ATBS_Interpreter, ATrack AK11, ATrack AK11 OBDII, ATrack AX11, ATrack AX11 OBDII, ATrack AX7B, ATrack AX7B OBDII, ATrackAU7 J1939/J1708, ATrackAX7 OBD2, ATrackAX9 J1939, ATrackAx9 OBD2, Astus TAG, Atlas, Azuga, CalAmp 3640, CalAmp 4230 Bluetooth, CalAmp 4230 Bluetooth LE, CalAmp 4230 Hardwired, CalAmp MDT7 Tablet, CalAmp V-Series, Digi WVA, ELM325 (BAFX,...) (J1708), ELM327 (BAFX,...) (J1939) Black Port, ELM327 (BAFX,...) (J1939) Green Port, ELM327 (BAFX,...)             1. 3.4.5.1.1 Select Connection Type (Bluetooth).

            2. 3.4.5.1.2 Type the Device Name.

            3. 3.4.5.1.3 Type the MAC Address, make sure that you provided the right format for mac address.

            4. 3.4.5.1.4 Type the PIN of the device.

          2. 3.4.5.2 If user selected Digi WVA and Wi-Fi Direct Push Button Mode in connection type.

            1. 3.4.5.2 .1 Type the Device Name.

            2. 3.4.5.2 .2 Type the MAC Address, make sure that you provided the right format for mac address.

            3. 3.4.5.2 .3 Inputting WiFi Access Point SSID and Password is optional.

            4. 3.4.5.2 .4 Type the Admin Password.

          3. 3.4.5.3 If user selected Digi WVA and Wi-Fi Direct PIN Mode in connection type

            1. 3.4.5.3.1 Type the Device Name.

            2. 3.4.5.3.2 Type the MAC Address, make sure that you provided the right format for mac address.

            3. 3.4.5.3.3 Type the PIN of the device.

            4. 3.4.5.3.4 Inputting WiFi Access Point SSID and Password is optional.

            5. 3.4.5.3.5 Type the Admin Password.

      6. 3.5 If selected equipment type > Trailer.

        1. 3.5.1 Type the VIN, License Plate and Firmware Version. The VIN is automatically capitalized.

        2. 3.5.2 The Odometer Offset. The Odometer Offset value must be in Miles.

        3. 3.5.3 Select a License Plate Country and License Plate State.

        4. 3.5.4 Select a DVIR Form, Visibility Set, Home Terminal and GPS Receiver.

      7. 3.6 Click the Save button to successfully add the equipment. Click the Cancel button to cancel the creation.

    4. 4. Managing Visibility Sets

      1. 4.1 Click on the Manage Visibility Sets button.

      2. 4.2 The Visibility Sets dialog will then appear.

      3. 4.3. Click on the New Visibility Set button to create a new set.

        1. 4.3.1 The Create Visibility Set dialog will then appear.

        2. 4.3.2 Fill in the name of the new set.

        3. 4.3.3 Check the ‘Make this visibility set the default’ to change the default visibility set.

        4. 4.3.4 Click the Save button to successfully add the set. Click the Cancel button to cancel the creation.

      4. 4.4 On the actions column:

        1. 4.4.1 Click on the Edit icon of a specific visibility set.

          The Edit Visibility Set dialog will then appear.

          Fill up the fields as you would in creating a visibility set.

           Click the Save button to successfully save the set. Click the Cancel button to cancel the edit.

        2. 4.4.2 Click on the Delete icon of a specific visibility set.

          The Delete Visibility Set dialog will then appear.

          Click the Delete button to successfully delete the set. Click the X button of the modal to cancel the deleting.

      5. 4.5 Click the X button of the modal to close the dialog.

    5. 5. Filtering Equipment by Terminal

      1. 5.1 Click on the All Terminals drop-down list.

      2. 5.2 Select the terminal's name in the drop-down list.

      3. 5.3 The Equipment table will then be updated to only show the equipment under the specified terminal.

    6. 6. Filtering Equipment by Equipment Type

      1. 6.1 Click on the All Equipment Type drop-down list.

      2. 6.2 Select the type of equipment in the drop-down list.

      3. 6.3 The Equipment table will then be updated to only show the equipment under the specified equipment type.

    7. 7. Searching Equipment

      1. 7.1 Type the Name of the Equipment in the Search text field.

      2. The Equipment table will then be updated to only show the equipment with the specified name.

  2. Equipment Table

    1. 1. Editing an Equipment

      1. 1.1 Click on the Edit icon of specific equipment.

      2. 1.2 The Edit Equipment dialog will then appear.

      3. 1.3 Fill in / Select the equipment details as you would in creating an equipment.

      4. 1.4 Click the Save button to successfully save the equipment. Click the Cancel button of the modal to cancel the edit.

    2. 2. Deactivate an Equipment

      1. 2.1 Click on the Edit icon of a specific equipment.

      2. 2.2 Uncheck the Active checkbox.

      3. 2.3 Click on Save button to proceed on deactivating the equipment. Click the X button on the modal to cancel the deactivating of the equipment.

        Note: Delete button is disabled if edited equipment is in Active status.

      4. 2.4 The equipment is successfully deactivated.

    3. 3. Delete an Equipment

      1. 3.1 Click on the Edit icon of specific deactivated equipment.

      2. 3.2 Click on the Delete button.

        Note: Delete button is only available for the deactivated equipment.

      3. 3.3 Click on Continue button to confirm the deletion of the equipment. Click Close button to cancel deleting the equipment.

      4. 3.4 Click on Yes button to delete the vehicle on another dialog prompted. You can also click on the No button to cancel deleting the vehicle.

    4. 4. Equipment Pagination

      1. 4.1 The table only shows the first 10 equipment according to the sorted column, and the rest will be on different pages.

      2. 4.2 Click and choose from the dropdown to change the number of records to be displayed per page.

      3. 4.3 Click on the navigation buttons below the table to jump to a specific page.

      4. 4.4 Enter a page number and Click Go to jump directly to a specific page.
