Improvements:
- We've enhanced the existing Data Transfer API to support exporting multiple ELD data transfer files in a single request for both FMCSA and CCMTA regulatory authorities.
Deep Dive
API Endpoint for CCMTA Data Transfer CSV Export
Previously, integrations were limited in how data transfer files could be requested. With this enhancement, customers can now request data transfer of CSV files for one or more drivers through the same API, simplifying compliance workflows, and improving integration efficiency.
What's New
1. Multi Driver Data Transfer Export:
The enhanced API now supports:
- Requesting FMCSA or CCMTA data transfer to CSV files.
- Exporting data for one or multiple drivers in a single API request.
- Download all generated files as a single ZIP archive.
- Automatically organize exports into separate folders for each driver when multiple drivers are requested.
2. Export Behavior:
Request | Result |
Single Driver | ZIP file contains the selected driver's data transfer CSV file. |
Multiple Drivers | ZIP file contains a separate folder for each selected driver and their corresponding data transfer to CSV file. |
Why This Matters
Many integrations rely on ELD data transfer files for compliance reporting and regulatory submissions. This enhancement reduces the number of API requests required when exporting data for multiple drivers and simplifies the retrieval of both FMCSA and CCMTA data transfer files.
Key Benefits
- Improved Integration Efficiency: Export data transfer files for multiple drivers with a single API request, reducing processing time and API overhead.
- Simplified Compliance Workflows: Retrieve FMCSA and CCMTA data transfer files using the same API, making regulatory reporting more efficient.
- Organized Export Files: Receive all requested files in a single ZIP archive, with separate folders created for each driver when exporting multiple records.
- Reduced Operational Effort: Minimize manual effort and streamline data retrieval for audits, compliance, and integration workflows.
