New Feature:

Post-Trip DVIR

We’ve introduced a new Android feature to improve DVIR compliance by prompting drivers to complete their Post-Trip DVIR when logging out of the app. This update helps fleet admins ensure that daily inspection routines are not missed.

• Driver Prompt on Logout: Drivers will now see a prompt to complete a Post-Trip DVIR when they tap the logout button.
• Direct DVIR Access: Selecting the prompt will open the DVIR form, allowing the driver to complete the inspection before logging out.
• Admin Notification: If the driver skips the post-trip DVIR and logs out, an alert is sent to the fleet admin notifying them of the missed inspection.

This feature is controlled by two account-level properties:

• dvir.post_trip.not_performed.dialog  
  • If enabled, the post-trip DVIR prompt will appear during logout (based on existing conditions).
  • If disabled, the prompt will not appear.
• dvir.post_trip.not_performed.remark  
  • If enabled, a remark is created when the driver chooses not to complete the DVIR.
  • If disabled, no remark is recorded.
